FAQ’s

Q: Do you paint on the inside or outside of windows?

A: Artwork is usually painted on the outside of windows but may need to be done on the inside based on weather, location, or complexity. Artwork on the inside may be requested but is subject to the artists approval

Q: What kind of paint do you use?

A: For the outside of windows, I use water based acrylic paint. I sometimes use chalk markers for inside jobs or Chalkboard work I mainly use posca markers for outlines and acrylic paint for filling in designs.

Q: Will the paint damage my windows?

A: Absolutely not! All paint used is water based and can be easily removed

Q: How long will my design last?

A: Acrylic paint can last months with the right conditions. Extreme Weather, heat, direct sunlight, and forceful scraping are all factors that can damage the design. These are things that clients should be aware of and take into account when requesting services. Please note, the longer the paint stays on, the harder it is to remove. *Painting with Acrylic paint on walls is permanent.

Q: How do you remove the paint and can I do it myself?

A: Paint removal is fairly easily depending on how long it has been on the window. I use windex to coat the design and leave it on for a few minutes. This softens the paint and makes removal much easier. I then use a stainless steel scraper that is safe for windows and does not leave scratches. The paint is then removed in satisfying layers. Clients can absolutely remove designs themselves. Please note, I am not responsible for any damage done to property in attempts to remove designs by the client.

Q: Do I have to opt in for photos or videos?

A: No. A client can request for photos not to be taken. Photos of artwork are added to my gallery as well as social media.

Q: Do you provide mockups?

A: I can if requested but i usually don’t. They can be provided at no extra charge. Mockups will consist of AI and photoshopped designs.

Q: How much do you Charge?

A: It really depends on the size, complexity, and design. Contact me with your Request and I will provide a free quote.

Q: Do you only paint windows?

A: No! Although I enjoy windows the Most, my artwork can be applied to many other surfaces and areas. I can do menus, walls, chalkboards, and more. Contact me with your ideas!

Q: How do i contact you regarding my inquiry?

A: You can call, text, or fill out the form via the contact page. Contact via email or social media is allowed but are not Preferred.

Q: Can I contact you at anytime?

A: you may, but please note my hours of operation. Monday through wednesday from 9am to 7pm and thursday to sunday from 9am to 2pm. I may respond outside my working hours but calls are Usually not taken during those hours. I will return your call the following day.

Q: Can you work in any type of weather?

A: Unfortunately, no. If i am working outside, I cannot work in extreme cold temperatures, rain, snow, or hail. It is preferred to work in weather above 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures below 40 degrees can cause paint thickening, poor adhesion, peeling, flaking, extended drying times, and cracking. On the other hand, extremely hot temperatures can cause similar effects. The best temperature to work in is between 40 and 90 degrees. When scheduling, i will let you know if weather will impact my work.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: I take venmo, cash, check, and apple pay. The deposit is due before installation. I will then send you an invoice for the full amount which is due two weeks after completion.
